The Lodge at Lake Guntersville State Park

The Chalets were nicely redone but I was so disappointed in the dirty floors, dirty QTips on the front porch by the front door and the crud behind the couch and chester drawers. The little oven was clean but the bottom coil didn't work. The beds were very comfortable and very clean as well as the tub and toilet! We were in 412.

The rooms are clean, but nothing mind-blowing. That being said, the view from our room was spectacular. The location is fantastic and there is a restaurant on-site. The food we had was mediocre but I am guessing that is because all they had was a buffet that night. Everyone was cordial and helpful. We plan to visit again and this time we will book a reservation for the zipline!!

Great! Had so much fun for a weekend with the family and dog. Rooms: If youre bringing a pet make sure to request a pet-friendly room. They arent allowed everywhere in the lodge.

I cannot speak about the rooms but the lodge food was not worth the price at all. We went for the seafood night and arrived long before close, they were understaffed and out of food. What was left amounted to only soggy fried food. The staff promised that fresh food was coming out. That was a pile of overcooked frozen chicken fingers. Please drive to a McDonald's, we spent $84 for chicken fingers... Food & drinks: See the other review
