Put in new ice maker. Didnt last 6 months. Next one never made one cube of ice and he would not return my calls or text. Found out he sold me a used part!! Never again would I use him

paid $280 for a couple of parts in November 2021. I'm writing this review on June 12, 2022. I've called weekly to get either my parts or my money back to no avail. starting civil action lawsuit tomorrow with Lauderdale county as even if it costs me more money to sue him I'm ready to make a point and get this guy to quit ripping folks off, only guy Whirlpool said was authorized to work on warranty parts. highly dishonest and letting whirlpool know and also every avenue I can.

Mr. Keith Slider of Polly's appliances of florance Al. Is not reliable or trustworthy. He requested that we paid him in advance to order a switch needed. After many phone calls attempts he finished texted me that he had the part needed and would may the repair within the next couple of days. Three months later he has not shown up and will not answer his phones. This man has taken money for repairing out church equpiment.

I called mr. Slider to come because my dryer had quit heating. He came the same day and put a new heating element in and charges $176.00. The next day I tried to dry something and the dryer still did not heat. I called him again and he came by and said I needed a new timer and he would have to order it. That was on a Wednesday and he said he would have it the first of the week. I called him the next Wednesday. Did not get an answer so I left a message. He finally called me later that day and said he still did not have the part but should have it on thursday and he would come by and fix my dryer as soon as he got it. He finally called me on Thursday and said he had the part and would come Friday afternoon and fix my dryer. He did not come or call. My husband and I decided to buy a new dryer because I still have not seen or heard from him. I advise everyone to NOT use this man. He is not reliable.
