Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Good location.
Rooms: Very clean room. Love the look. Bed was comfortable.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was wonderful

We have stayed here for around 4 times before but our last trip April 3-4 was a disaster. The chamber maid displayed rudeness when she opened the door while we were still about to wake up and even blamed us for not warning her. My wife was on the phone while i was still in bed. Afterwards when we reported the incident the supervisor said she didnt care at all while the hotel manager did not talk to us. The reception person tried to console us and said all is noted and is being acted upon.
It is ironic that we find the best western a clean place compared to other hotels in mobile alabama but this bad attitude from their employees will now make us search for another place.
My wife and I do travel much due to business but we are not asking much during overnight hotel stays. But not so courteous hotel employees is a real turn off.
Rooms: Relatively clean and not smelly.

The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The breakfast had hot link sausage and eggs. They had a good selection of bagels, pastry, etc.

I came at 1PM and the parking lot was empty but they wanted a $25 early check in fee. While I was there the hotel was no more than 20% full. I would understand this during tourist city. I travel 50 nights a year and have never been made to pay for early check in. If other hotels have rooms, they let you in. They said this was a Best Western policy and I was trying this chain for the first time because it was near our plant.

Great location near restaurants. Updated room with comfortable bed included a frig and microwave. Late night broadcast of background talk radio was a little weird. Staff allowed our kids to park their RV in the lot while we shared a nearby dinner.
