Benchmark Homes Sonny, Nicole, Melanie and Allen stuck by us in one of the most difficult building seasons Ever! They kept their commitments to us as prices & building cost increased daily. It was a hard time to build & they were there for us!

I rated them a 5. Through the entire process they were very informative and helpful walked me through each step. They were firm to their word and I am very happy with the results I have a beautiful home. I have recommended them to everyone that has enquired . I would only use them for my home building need.

We LOVE our Benchmark (RH Radcliff) home. We contracted with them to build the home in Nov 2020. Construction began April 2021, and we moved in July 1, 2022, so we've been living in it for a year and a half now. Construction would have been swifter without COVID delays, but our super, Allan, dealt with it all like the professional he is. Nothing is ever completely perfect in life....same with building a house. But Benchmark/RH Radcliff built us a sound, beautiful home that we are proud to live in. Their communication was excellent, and the crew (Sonny, Allan, Melanie, Bailey, etc...) always responsive and helpful. I will likely use them again to build another on the lot we own across the street from this. Good people!

A new homeowner for 2 years now, a lot of issues with the quality of the house, AC stop working, dishwasher not working, never got the correct stove, I can see outside when my front door is closed. My toilet so close to the wall the lid will not close over the tank and it bangs every time you sit on it. Very disappointed with Benchmark.

I received an email requesting a google review to help build their profile and credibility so here it goes....We signed papers on our build and everything moved without any issues. Melanie was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. Our disgust began the day we met Allan (our superintendent). He treated my wife and our like we were kids and did not know anything about the building process (my dad was a homebuilder when I was growing up so I knew what to expect with a homebuilder, and Allan was not it). He started off being very cocky and short with my wife and I. I was very involved in my build process and would make sure any issues were addressed in a timely manner so as to not delay the build (cracked shower and electrical box that was not cut out and just sheet rocked over). My first irritation with him was when it came time to get power started. I texted him that morning and told him to let me know when he's ready for power and I was going to line it up. He quickly replied back that he had already told me in the preconstruction meeting when I needed to have it up. Again, I was just trying to make sure I knew when to line Riviera up for install. We chose a Sherwin Williams paint color and he substituted it for BLP equivalent which was not the same at all. Instead of the grey we wanted it was a brown. I requested that the whole house be painted over again and it was like asking for the blood of his firstborn. He told me he had never in the 20 or 30 something years had this issue but decided that he would repaint it with SW paint and it turned out the grey that we had wanted. On the day of our walk through I wanted him to go over our inspection report that we had done so that I could show him areas of concern. He did not want to look at it because he said that the inspectors just find things that are not an issue and put them on the report because they have to put together a report since I paid for one. There were some legitimate safety issues that needed to be addressed, and were addressed after he finally looked at them. I could go on and on (quite literally) about him but I digress. We have been in the house a year and a half now and have not had any major issues. What we did have issues with were quickly addressed via call backs. The customer service in the office has been stellar. Melanie especially was very easy to deal with and treated you with respect. Nicole was fantastic as well! Bailey (Allan's assistant) was phenomenal and always approachable and willing to address any questions I might have. I wish I could give 5 out of 5 stars but I hope no one ever has to deal with a superintendent like Allan, and for that I am giving 2 stars.
