We met with Chris in the office to contract Mancha Hardscapes it install an in ground pool. The first meeting was great. Everyone was nice and seemed eager to work. From there it went downhill. We never got any sort of construction timeline to let us know how the process would go. After several weeks we texted Chris to ask how things were going and were told that the guy was coming out next day to dig for the pool. Okay short notice, but I was already working from home due to COVID so it was no big deal. I would be here to open the gate for him. Chad, the digger, was quite snarky with me on a couple of occasions. He would ask me where I wanted something and I would have to call my husband to ask him. This was his project and I wanted to make sure he was happy with it. Chad was quick to say that maybe he should be here for this. I snapped back that my husband was at work since we had no notice that Chad was coming to dig today. So the pool is dug and Chad leaves without any notice that he was done. Left my gates open for my dogs to escape had I not checked before letting them out. Weeks go by again with no contact. I texted Chris asking whats next in the project. I am informed that the guys will be there that day to install the frame work for the pool. Again, no notice whatsoever. This type of communication goes on throughout the course of install. I would have random people just show up at the house doing whatever it was they were supposed to do that day. Finally, its time for the concrete decking to be installed. The pump truck they order ran through my yard completely destroying one of the sprinklers. No apology given. They didnt even tell me. I noticed it after they had left. The workers cleaned the hose in my neighbors yard, leaving a pile of concrete that I later cleaned up so as not to piss them off. So now the concrete has been poured. The next day, after it had dried, I noticed huge cracks everywhere. I texted Chris and was told that the only way to keep concrete from cracking is to leave it on the truck. Rude much? They send someone out to repair the cracks but this only makes it look worse. Especially when its wet. About this time I start getting an invoice for $3,500 for extra concrete. We were not told we were getting extra concrete. I never asked for extra either. The invoice is sent once a week. I reply to the email that we didnt get extra and attach pictures of the horrible concrete job we received. Have not received any response to any emails I have sent. If you are looking for someone to install a pool, look somewhere else. These guys do not do quality work. Service: General construction

John Mancha came to our house and looked at our yard (nice guy) and said he'd send us a quote in 2 days. He didn't! I had to call his office and ask for the quote. I asked his salesperson in an EMAIL a simple follow-up timeline question. She didn't respond. I sent it to her again, with (2nd attempt) in the subject line... still no response. So, I sent the email to John... no response from him either. I understand they're busy - everyone is busy. You shouldn't have to chase someone to do business with them. If Mancha is this unresponsive BEFORE you give them your money; how unresponsive will the be once you've handed over your hard-earned cash and they have you TRAPPED? BEWARE!
