    I started off excited to work with pink zebra. Hayden was very kind and personable. Jim seemed on top of the quoting process and the mission of the company was encouraging. Founded on honesty, treating people fairly and making moving fun. None of that happened. SEVERAL things were broken. Some replaceable and some irreplaceable family heirlooms. SEVERAL things were missing. Altogether well over $5000 worth of stuff. Our move was grossly under estimated. Both in time and cost. I asked several times about the cost to be clear that they included everything and the price was right because hayden told me multiple times that the quote is a hard price and they eat any cost that goes beyond. She said it was. They quoted $2800 and after it was all over, I received a TEXT from Jim saying that it was $6000 but that they were only going to charge me $3800, is that ok? The sad thing is we got guilted into paying it. But legally by FEDERAL LAW Ive discovered that they can only charge 10% more than the quoted price. The gross underestimate is fraudulent if they try to jack up the price in the end. Ive also discovered that LEGALLY they were supposed to provide me with an inventory list. They did not. Bill of lading? Nope. Do not trust this company to preform professionally or with integrity. I have text after text showing the move was sloppy and mismanaged. I have email after email of the owner admitting fault and negligence with no apology or effort to make it right. They were NEVER on time, not once. Our move was supposed to be completed in a day and it took a WEEK. And every bit was sloppy at best along the way. I have texts where Jim acknowledged that his moving guys were lying about the job. When I confronted them about the missing and broken stuff Jim was extremely apologetic and said they would make it right. He was getting all my losses details in order to come up with a cost. Then I didnt receive phone calls that were scheduled and eventually got an email saying they found a loophole with the insurance and werent going to reimburse me for anything. After Jim blew me off for the third time, the president of the company called and basically said I was lying, and they have no records of how the move went and there was nothing she was willing to do. Ive provided her with the text evidence of the sloppiness of the job to no avail. It was evident she hadnt spoken with Jim or she is just lying because she denied that Jim told me that they would make it right with my losses. She was cold and uncaring in any way. Ive lost an Apple desktop computer with irreplaceable files and photos. My moms wedding canister set was shattered. Among several other things. Im heart broken and incredibly disappointed that a company who claims to want to protect people from these things would be so insensitive and dishonest. There is evidence that the contract can be manipulated after the fact because its digital. I believe thats what happened with mine. The date of the contract is the first date of our move. Yet our move was not completed until the following week. Yet the additional hours have been updated but the date still shows dec. 16th. Very suspicious. Oh and the contract does not have my signature on it. In fact I never received the contract NOR the federally required Rights and Responsibilities flyer. I plan to pursue legal avenues and also warn anyone considering using this company. Dont fall for the fake reviews they got their friends and family to write. Look at the BBB reviews. And the one star reviews. It sound exceptionally identical to our experience. I am currently filing complaints, writing reviews and reporting to authorities. Next I will see about small claims court. Its not about the money. Its about the integrity of a company. Theyll keep defrauding people.

Mrs. Bell: We are truly sorry that we were not able to satisfy your request for resolution. As stated during our call last week, had you contacted us within a reasonable time after your move was completed, we would have done everything we could to investigate the allegations and work towards a resolution. It is never our intention to create an unhappy customer, or to hide from potential issues, but unfortunately the extreme passage of time between your move and the issued complaint had to weigh in as a factor of the resolution process. Since just under 12 months had passed before any of these issues were called to our attention, we are unable to take responsibility for the lost and damaged items. Should you choose to file a police report, we will cooperate fully.We do agree that the move took a few hours longer than anticipated. Unfortunately, no matter how accurate we try to be with our estimates, we can sometimes be a tad over or under. We do price by the hour and use clear and concise language to explain that "This estimate is based on information provided by the client (herein after referred to as "shipper") and is subject to change" on our estimates and invoices. We also use an electronic invoicing system that keeps a change log. We were unable to find anything in the log showing a change to your invoice once you accepted it, other than a discount and an approximate 2.10 additional hours ($710.00) added once the move was completed and the time was adjusted to reflect the exact time worked. Our records indicate that your move was started on December 16, 2022 at 9:03 a.m., and final payment was not collected until January 11, 2023 at 1:34 p.m. directly after a discount was applied. It is common to hold an invoice open as we work through a dispute, but it is tough declare the exact reason why it was held open since a year has passed. We would be happy to provide you with all documents and a copy of the change log for your review.We are truly sorry that we were unable to resolve this to your satisfaction. Had we known of the issues prior to the passing of 11.5 months, we would have been able to properly investigate this matter. We are regretful that we were unable to do so.
