I wish I could give them 0 stars... I thought I could give this place a second chance to replace my nose pads since they have a bad rep in the neighborhood. The reason for the second chance was because years ago I was looking for work and they turned me down. They said they wanted a bilingual sales clerk and could not hire me because I was not bilingual. So fast forward to today March 25, 2024 and I told my dad I needed new nose pads as mine were starting to wear out. My dad said he used them to fix his nose bridge and said he had no problems; boy was I wrong. They took my glasses in and the owner had his worker take them to the back. What usually takes two seconds to a minute to change out was heading in to 5 mins... I asked the owner why is it taking so long. When the owner came out he had a cloth around them and my glasses came out they covered in a flim and had scratches. When I voiced my concerns the owner Then took the rag out of his pocket to clean them revealing a long scratch by the nose bridge by the screw on my glasses. I said you scratched my glasses and his reply was "No that is from you." Nope.. I could not get a scratch there if I tried as they have a special coating on them and are made for my Dyslexia. Plus you only have to run them under water to clean them and he used a cleaner that caused spots. That "scratch" he claims is from his clerk today March 25, 2024 "after" I paid $10.00 dollars cash to have the nose pad replace. You have to fit an eyeglass screwdriver in there to cause a scratch like that. I have never in all the places (and years) I go to have my glasses fixed had this happen... I now have to call my eye doctor for an appointment due to how these are a tool for my vision and Dyslexia. I was hoping people were wrong and they had changed, but clearly they have not.

Disgusting staff, minus one young lady. Every single time I have been here I have had a negative experience with a middle aged, woman with raccoon mascara with a DISGUSTING ATTITUDE. Why they continue to keep her with her unprofessional demeanor is beyond me. I JUST called today to see about an appointment and as usual she was abrasive and caught an attitude about me requesting her to check if I was eligible for new glasses. This entire establishment is garbage, specifically because they insist on holding on to employees with lacking customer service skills. Ive witnessed her (in person) only be proper and inviting to Spanish speaking / Latino presenting individuals, anyone else she gives her a** to kiss. I am fed up with this service, moreso disappointed in her employer who allows this to continue. Save yourself the trip, take your business elsewhere. Even 1 star is WAY too much.

I should have listened to the reviews. This place is HORRIBLE. The customer service is HORRENDOUS! The woman at the front desk is RUDE and lacking basic knowledge of how to do her job (why do you need my FULL social security number? and when I explained to her that it wasn't necessary and all she needed was the last 4 - she scoffed, rolled her eyes and became exasperated with me). The doctor was good but definitely not enough to return. Save yourself the headache, go somewhere else! I felt like I walked into that woman's living room and asked her to help me with some glasses, as opposed to walking into her place of work. TERRIBLE! Just, TERRIBLE!

Overpriced, scummy US corporate store run by slumlords (typical)... Just keep your contacts box and order online folks. Don't even try giving them money...

I don't normally leave reviews but this place is completely unprofessional and undeserving of anyone's business! Every experience that I've had at this optical has been a bad one. They have an attitude every time I go and they speak poorly about you in Spanish when you're on hold thinking you can't hear or understand what they're saying. I would suggest going to another optical location in the neighborhood or Bj's Optical. They have no respect for their customers despite being in the neighborhood for so many years. Also overpriced! They don't even deserve 1 star.
