Candlewood Suites Baton Rouge - College Drive, an IHG Hotel

Hotel stunk of air freshner staff was vacant most of the time. I always book thru IHG app and never have i had such a bad hotel. Seemed like homeless people were staying there like it was a shelter. Bathroom was terrible i had to fix the toilet shower head wouldnt work. Go stay somewhere else waist of 200.00.

What else can I say about this hotel ,clean,rooms smelled good bathrooms clean! I loved my stay here .the staff were very nice and accommodating! Joette is a doll! I'd def stay here again ! Loved my stay Rooms: Very clean rooms ,comfy beds !

We have stayed at this hotel at least four dozen times over the last 5 years. It has always been wonderful. The suites are beautiful and clean, and the staff is excellent. This is the only hotel that we use in the Baton Rouge area.

We booked this room online. We always book with IHG. We booked a king suite. I got worried when we first walked in the hotel. It smelled of cheap air freshener, which always makes me think that it is not clean, and it was not clean. Although the bed and bedding was nice, the room was dusty. The bathroom floor was sticky and the sink was not clean. The shower barely worked and my husband had to fix the toilet so that the tank would fill. When we went to check out in the morning, we could not find an employee, so we checked out in the app. Noteworthy details: There was a crowd of people hanging out in front of the hotel in the evening and in the morning.
