Plenty of parking, cans and bottles of basic beers. They provide setups if you bring your own harder alcohol. Staff is friendly and laidback. They also have live music on weekends.

If you are looking for an escape from the paparazzi, they'll never think to look at the Poddle Dog Lounge. You may not know where this place is, but I can assure you that Poodle Dog management could care less.

If you're looking for a place that is mostly empty and only serves canned beer and cheap wine, I recommend you just stay home. Poodle dog is a dump that has a few pool tables and a joke of a bar. The trashy clientele likes to hang outside the back door and smoke and harass folks walking by. Seriously, I'd rather drink at home by myself with all the lights out than venture to this waste of space.

Biggest dive in ATX? What a place - cash only, they serve beer in cans and sell mixers for BYOLiquor. There's 0 windows and the clientele is older/rough around the edges. If you want to see some nice bikes there's usually a few Harleys parked outside. Back inside, there's a decent amount of pool tables. They're a dollar a game, which isn't too bad, but more than I'd expect to pay in a place like this. Go once to say you've been but don't wear a collared shirt - you'll get some looks. And sure as hell don't ask for anything other than the standard american beers or you'll come across as a fool. Pourhouse is nearby for your next drinks after you have one or two here.
