I am so impressed with this place! The food exceeded my expectations and the service was great. I cant wait to come back and try the pizza.

The food and service were good, but you need to crank up the oven for the pizza . The crust was soft and undercooked . You have the thin crust, but a true north end pizza has crispy edges and is fast baked in a super hot oven..

First, I want to say that the woman who took our order and saw to our table was awesome, friendly, and great with the kids. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I have to say about this place. My pancakes were really dry and barely had any fruit on them. It took forever for the food to come out, almost an hour. They charged us an excessive amount for still water ($7 per check and we had our checks split into 3 parties so we paid $21 for WATER!). I would very much encourage anyone who's reading this to go elsewhere.

I was disappointed with The Garden because I moved to Austin from Boston. The restaurant was not busy but service was wonky. Too long waiting for a glass of wine. I had lobster bisque (only soup available) and crostini. If I owned this place, Id pay the chef to live in the Boston area and discover what Italian food is like there. And stop serving that bisque.
