I like that the sales people work on commission. I bought a fridge yesterday and it was easy in ... easy out ... and professional. My sales reps name was Laura. She had recently transferred from Houston where apparently there are lots of Conn's. Definitely recommend Conn's over Sears, Lowe's and Best Buy. Only warning, if you are not used to the personal attention right when you walk in it may feel pushy but again if you know that you are coming into buy then you will get that immediate attention you need. Just say'n.

I came into this Conn's today (4/20/2013) to finance a laptop to build up my credit due to having too little credit history. They approve mostly everybody (no credit check, need 4 references, 2 pay stubs, & proof of residence). Mitch greeted me when I came in and was very friendly and helpful. They apparently work on commission, but he didn't pressure me or anything like that at all. Victoria finalized my order and she was also very friendly and explained everything clearly. The whole shebang took around an hour (including my looking around and deciding which product to buy).
Overall, everyone was very friendly and helpful. They get an A grade from me.

They told me they had in house financing and would not run my credit. Sticker price for the lap top was 30.00 a month. They came back with a quote of 150.00 a month without running my credit. The salesman would not give me room to breath after being asked once nicely, once directly, and 3 time firmly. After the 150.00 quote I told them no thank you and left in a hurry. A few days later they called and told me they fired that employee and wanted me to come back in. I thanked them and had already found the laptop they wanted 900.00 for at a different store for 450.00. I paid cash. I got a notice in the mail today that they ran my credit after I left the store anyway. When I called to complain they were rude and explained it is policy for them to run it. The sales rep ensured me at the time I was in that it would NOT be run and there was no need to run it. Conns isn't just a name its their way of doing business. DON'T GO THERE. I will never walk into one of these stores again.
