    Absolutely fabulous staff. The shuttle to the airport was punctual and the drivers were incredible. Clean rooms good breakfast. Rooms: Clean Nearby activities: Some stuff in walking distance Safety: Safe area Walkability: Close to a few food places. Food & drinks: Close by

    Called a week in advance to reserve a room for March 13-14th. Spoke with Malik and explained that I would be arriving around 1am and was assured it wouldnt be a problem and that a note would be added to my reservation to explain this. Drove a rental from Huntsville, Alabama for four hours and arrived at the hotel at 2 am. Ms. Tammy did not even greet me and made me feel like I was interrupting her. Proceeded with reservation to which she immediately said that she believed I was already marked as a no show. She then stated she could not find my reservation for at least 15 minutes. I stated that I would just take any room available to which she replied that they were at capacity. I began getting agitated and explained I made the reservation in advanced and was exhausted and had a meeting in five hours so I needed my room. She then found my reservation but stated there was not a note of my arrival time and I couldnt check in until 3:30. Then she stated she found the note stating I would arrive at 1am on the 13th, but system would actually consider this 1am the 14th. At this point I am irate and she went on to explain the system was auditing and she could not do anything until 3 am. It was 2:30 by now, so she advised I wait. I explained my child was also with me, and we waited in the car until 3am. She then spitefully told me that she still couldnt do anything. I asked why would she have me waiting with my child until 3am if there was nothing she could do to which she then replied that she never said that! Why would I put my child and I at risk waiting in the cold that time of day in that part of town if she did not say that? To which she responded by calling someone to have me removed from the premises. So my child and I had nowhere to go and it was after 3am (and I still had a meeting at 8am)! Ms. Tammy was rude and showed no levels of customer service and had no empathy to the fact I am a single woman traveling out of time with a child. Now all of this happened March 13th, and I made a complaint immediately to the corporate office. I was promised somebody would be contacting me regarding the situation (Within 24 to 48 hours) and it is now the 28th and I have yet to hear anything. I have never been so disappointed by this company and I have been, a loyal customer for over two decades But never again!

    We ended up missing a connecting flight which required an overnight stay. I chose Hampton because it was close and they had an airport shuttle. Unfortunately for us, the shuttle doesn't run between the hours of 11pm-4am. We had to taxi. The king suite was really nice but the air conditioning never got down to the set temperature. The sound of traffic is loud! If you are a light sleeper, be prepared.
