I had a very satisfactory transplant done in 2003. I decided I want to have another procedure as I've experienced significant hair loss recently.
Drake was the salesperson I interacted with.
Unlike my first experience this is a "high pressure car sales experience", where a bunch of fluff charges are piled on and then “specially removed just for you, one time only, but you have to BUY RIGHT NOW”… but you are still paying Full Retail Price one way or the other.
I have received hundreds of flyers over the last decade all with the Limited Time Offer of $4.50 per graft. That Limited Time Deal is AT LEAST 10 years old. How stupid does Bosley think their customers are?
After wasting all that money marketing, when I call up and want a second procedure I was getting texts from Drake at any hour of the day, and basically, if I didn't reply instantly, it was "Well, if you don't want to commit RIGHT NOW, then don't bother me."
The sales experience is alarming enough that I question the entire practice.
Update: Bosley's Customer Satisfaction Team contacted me, apologized for my experience, and we worked out an arrangement for me to move forward with transplant. I'll post another review in about 5 months after my new hair has come in some.
Update 10.1.21: Had my procedure performed and Doctor Tan and his team were excellent and definitely met my expectations.
I will provide additional updates as they become relevant.

Look, I got a lot of hair back. This is an amazing procedure, and I'm sure it helps a lot of people. But my expectations were to have a full head of hair. I wanted to grow my hair out long. I still can't do that. I can't shave it now either, because of the huge scar on the back of my head. I really can't do much with it. I paid for a full head of hair, and I got the man going bald look.

Dr. Tan and his crew was extremely helpful and kind! It was the best experience that I ever had! Casey Miller The confrontation representative went way out of his way to help me out. Everybody at Bosley treating me like family!
