The team at Diversified Improvement Contractors is top notch for construction needs. We never questioned the project's progression because they always provided a status of where we were at on the project. Great communication and excellent project management. I highly recommend this team for all contractor needs.

The complex i live at choose to hire out of state contractor to redo all the roofs with a tpo roof, which is a very smart choice for material. I cant go up top to look at quality so this review is not regarding that, but what is comes from my experience of owning my own construction company for 20yrs and done work in five different states. I have never seen a roof done using hardi backer but get the concept in order to hold down the foam used to slope and insulate the flat roof. I have two complaints as well as everyone else at the complex and have brought up to management. I am writing this as being an owner and needing to know what needs to be worked on for better customer relations. Cleanlyness is not this companies forte. I am wondering if they own push brooms and blowers. I didnt notice you can upload pictures but i will go around the entire lot and take pictures. So through out the entire 300 apartment complex and townhomes, there is tear off debris all over the entire lot on the pavement in the grass in the yards of renters. I have seen the complexes maintenance man clean up which this should be in the companies bid. It is a complete mess. The second complaint is the cleanlyness of the workers and being polite or professional. Employees are blocking literally the entrances to residence apartments and townhomes. I had to ask them to move just to literally get onto the sidewalk and even then had to walk around them on the sidewalks to get to my car. After their lunches they leave their food trash everywhere and i do mean everywhere. Being owner a business my guys new to clean up after lunch, and the jobsite especially common areas. What is scary is that Texas is one in few states that you do not need to or have to qualify to be a licensed contractor. This would explain why KB Homes main complaints for building was in the state of Texas. If you don't believe me go online, For decades you dont have to have any experience or license to build not sure how that works going into other states where new mexicos licensing procedure is one of the hardest in the USA one you have to have a notarized letter with showing 2 or 4 out of ten years experience to get a residential or commercial license and then you have to take a building codes exam and then a business exam. Again i cant say to their quality I can say organizing is not the best they havent completed one roof yet but have almost all 20 buildings demoed and started but none finished and the messes are unreal

Mr. Rivera, I want to first apologize for the inconvenience that may have been caused on you and your residence as the roof replacements are taking place. Quality and safety is of the highest importance on any project that we manage. I would like to address your concerns. First, we are not using hardi backer. The product we are using is secure rock and it is a common product to use under a TPO roof to enhance the durability of the membrane. It provides a solid backer under the TPO roof to minimize the potential damage. As you know, being in the business of construction, replacing flat roofs is not always the easiest nor the cleanest at times. It is sometimes hard to keep everything picked up during the demolition process, but we do strive to ensure that everything is picked up at the end of the day. The wind is no ones friend when it comes to demolition either. I am also sorry that you were inconvenienced in getting into your home as well. As you know the community is very tight on space and because of all of the trees there is limited access to get material on and off the buildings. I understand that you live in building 8, and we are not working on that roof just yet. I also want to clarify that their are only 8 residential buildings, not 20. Also, this community only has 122 units not 300. We currently have 4 buildings completed and have started working on the 5th one. I think you might also be confused on the buildings not being completed as we had to wait on some custom transition metal to be made. But I assure you the buildings were complete and water tight. While you are correct in that the State of Texas doesn't currently require a licenses for roofing, we are in fact licensed in the State of New Mexico as well as many other states. We always post the permits at the leasing office per the city guidelines. Again, I want to apologize for the short term inconvenience of the roof replacements as we are striving to work as efficiently as possible to replace the roofs for everyone's betterment. Thank you for your patience!
