This place is a hidden gem. They found a rug for me that was like a needle in a haystack. The staff is amazing and the selection is excellent and suitable for all types of styles.

We've lived in York for more than 20 years and never knew about this gem of a furniture and carpeting store. They've been here for generations. They are some of the nicest people we have met. The store has incredible finds. Furniture that you won't find anywhere else. Service that reminds you of how it used to be. Mike and his daughter, Abby were so friendly and helpful. We didn't make a large purchase that day, but we were treated like we had. When we need to make another purchase in the future, this will be the first place we come to. Do yourself a big favor and check out Helf the Carpetman for the finest furniture and carpeting in York.

I went to them because I believe to give to local businesses, however I will not recommend them. I have the carpet and vinyl flooring in only for a few weeks and already seams in the carpet are coming apart, vinyl flooring was never sealed in the bathroom properly. Trying to get in touch with them is difficult. Don't return phone calls or texts messages, However in the beginning, completely different story.
My apologies for not seeing your response sooner, so I will use that 1as and example. Yes, I contacted you about the flooring that Lowes tore while installing a stove. I have 1 question for you; after I sent you the pictures did you ever contact me back about repairing the floor?
