St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Store

St. Vincent thrift store was once a fun place to shop. Sadly thats not the case in 2023. There were some management changes and the store has a completely different atmosphere. I thought it was a place to help poor people like myself. Seems many of these non-profit organizations nowadays are mainly about profit off of donations, unwilling to work with people's situation's. Everything is down to the last penny. Dont be short a penny or you may not get that blanket you need to stay warm in the winter. I just know I St. Vincent thrift store has changed a lot, and not for the better.

The green sign for children clothing was marked $1.00 for tee shirt and $1.00 for leggings... Well I was charge $2.50 for the tees and $3.50 for the leggings Why have a sign for prices if that's not what your gonna charge for them? I asked why was the prices changed and the lady behind the counter stated that they charge what they feel they can get for it, they make up the prices of it's clean and almost newish they charge more then something you can tell was worn Alot That's messed up to people.

This place is pretty brilliant. There are tons of options, the organization is pristine, and the variety is impressive.

I love love love this place...I donate and treasure hunt here on a regular basis..it's become an addiction!!! The staff are wonderful and work very hard to keep things organized and looking great....lots of items ..something for everyone no matter what your age...highly recommend this store!!!
