Banner Personal Services is AWESOME. I was able to fill out my job application, and than I proceeded to do my onboarding, and criminal background as well. Finally, after all that I went into the office to show them my ID'S. Very Professional, and Helpful. See Brittanie & Recruiter Cathy. Definitely 5 STARS

Spoke with a Tony (not sure which location he represents). He informed me that my resume was great & wanted to move forward with employment assistance. The downside is instead of discussing the career opportunity for the position I applied for, he offered me an opportunity for another company in another city, doing the same type of work. All of my previous job experience (which is noted on my resume that again he said "looks great"), was in the same area as the position I applied for, however again he offered me something different while confirming the position I applied for was still open. Tony questioned my current pay rate & asked my salary expectations. The position I applied for had a salary range in which I quoted to him & informed him this is what I expect to receive should I get an offer. Tony stated I would not get the salary range posted on the job vacancy & instead offered me my current rate with a "POSSIBLE" 50 cent incentive. He noted that this was due to the company wanting to keep employees in the same pay grade that their currently in & not jump too far outside of that. I informed Tony that the salary posted on the job opening should be honored, that I have over 10 years experience in the job listing itself, & that I know my worth. Tony stated this was not the right attitude to have & this wouldn't guarantee me a job. My concern with that whole ordeal is who leaves a job and seeks employment elsewhere just to get the same paygrade? Majority of individuals seeking employment is solely to receive better pay (which again the job post listed a payrate I would be comfortable with but was one in which Tony stated I wouldn't be offered). Who applies for a job & gets offered another vacancy OUTSIDE of the geographic location on which they applied? Lastly Who/What company can truly say that an individual's previous work experience doesn't count for ANYTHING towards their paygrade especially in corporate America when you have a college education, degrees, & certifications needed for the position? 90% of companies require previous work experience, degrees, certifications, etc. The call was a complete waste of my time, I feel as if this staffing company/direct hire company is cheap, not serious in their job responsibilities to fill vacancies while making the experience pleasant & respectful, & truly doesn't have the heart to help potential candidates.

We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy about your encounter with our office. We want every interaction with Banner to be a positive one. We appreciate you taking the time to speak with our vice president, Laura Long, this past weekend on the phone regarding the details. On behalf of our organization, we hope you will accept our apologies regarding the experience not being a positive one for you.Regarding your frustrations in reference to being told about other opportunities, our only intent was to inform you of available positions closer to your home. If that was not conveyed clearly, we apologize. We take great pride in our customer service skills and welcome all feedback. We are truly disappointed when we fall short. Your feedback will help us in our journey of constant improvement.Sincerely,The Banner Personnel Service Management Team
