I know this company and the owner very well. They have worked on my yard for years doing many project from building additions, landscaping, plowing, property design, excavation, and pretty much anything else besides plumbing. Every experience I've had has been very pleasant. Matter of fact there entire crew is on my families Christmas card list. Thank you Sam and the crew for everything you have done to make our lives easier by taken some burdens off us.

Viola Ventures’ work was sloppy, careless, cost me money, and some of the crew members were extremely rude. This company was hired to do lawn maintenance and landscaping at a condo complex where I live. The condo president hired them before I moved in, I don’t know how much they cost, but I do know they were chosen because they were the cheapest option. And now I see why. On different occasions they did the following things: 1. Got their mower stuck in my side yard. Had to drive their work truck on to my lawn to tow if off. It left large marks on the lawn and I asked them if they planned to fix it. They said yes they would bring grass seed next week. They never showed up to seed the following week, in fact they didn’t bring it until 4 or 5 weeks later, and by that time I had taken care of it myself. 2. Had the same situation with the mower happen in a neighbor’s yard several weeks later. 3. One day they came to put down mulch which I was happy about. A few days later I noticed that they had way over-mulched some areas, and under-mulched others. I fixed it myself. 4. While “weeding”, a guy ripped out some soapwort and zinnias I had just planted. I was upset and confronted him, and his response was that he thought they looked like weeds. His coworker came over to see what the issue was, and quickly promised to go buy me some replacements. That never happened. 5. Ripped out some of my neighbor’s freshly bedded flowers in the same way. 6. Moved some veggies I had growing in containers to another person’s yard, in the shade. 7. Crashed their mower into our HVAC unit in the back of the house. I came home to find it dented and knocked off of the platform. 8. Crashed their mower into our neighbor’s siding, denting it. 9. Completely decimated some areas of brand new grass growth by weed whacking. Common sense should tell you that there’s no need to weed whack blades of grass that are 1/8” high. 10. Multiple times, I had to ask them not to smoke their cigarettes right next to my screen door and porch. There is more, but you get the idea. We decided to let them go, and on the last day they were here, I watched a guy crash into my bird feeder pole with the mower. I waved to get his attention and ask him to stop mowing (the lawn had just been mowed anyway by someone else). He seemed confused but said he would stop. Then I heard him talking to the crew leader in front of my house, and the leader loudly shouted “she’s just annoying, she just needs something to complain about!” Hilarious, because I would have LOVED to have nothing to complain about. He went on to talk trash about our whole complex and how he was “never coming back here”- true, because we fired him. So to sum up, if you‘re looking for people to damage your lawn/house and insult you at your own home, call these guys. If not, steer clear.
