Jack,Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be your rental provider. In regards to your complaints, you had the lift in your possession for two full days. Other than when your employee called to ask about how to level the lift (after admitting to not paying attention through his tutorial), we were not notified of any issues until after you returned late with the equipment damaged due to clear negligence. Upon return, we tested the lift with your employee and could not replicate the issue he described. It was further tested after he left and again, we could not replicate the issue. If you would like to come in to demonstrate the issue, we would be glad to have you, as we don’t want any future customers to have the issue you might have experienced. Addressing the “tiny dent” you put in the fiberglass cover, it was acknowledged by your employee (in writing, on your contract) that our limited damage waiver (LDW) does not cover falling objects or debris. While we do appreciate your attempt to cover the busted fiberglass in duct tape, we can not risk sending that to a customer, so the cover must be replaced. Like I stated when we spoke, we are only charging you our cost on the parts and will cover the labor cost involved in the repairs.
