My transmission went out on my 2003 Ford 4x4. I brought it to Wentzville where they diagnosed the problem. They gave me a price to repair it which was very competitive. My truck was repaired quickly and I am very satisfied. I recommend this shop highly.

Outstanding service! Friendly staff members and excellent mechanics! brought back the 1980 Ford Ranger Lariat! had them tear down the whole motor and do a reseal on the whole motor. Seals on the motor were 25 years old. They brought to my mention that if I'm going to do a rear main seal you mind as well redo them all. I agreed upon the idea, and when I had them pull the motor out for the reseal. I brought in a very fancy all inclusive serpentine conversion kit from CVF Racing. To get away from the V-belt style. Which they had no problem putting those on for me! I also brought in my long tube Hedman Elite Extreme-Duty Headers! Had those put on without a problem! At this point I was in disbelief. I was able to get the parts I wanted put on and they did a spectacular job! I couldn't be more happy then I am now! It sounds amazing and drives amazing! Totally worth my time which they had the truck done less then three weeks! Worth every penny in my opinion! I like how they offer a warranty on the work they do! AAMCO brought my truck back to life! this truck means a lot to me. Makes it even more special seeing it on the road then sit inside the barn and never be driven. The service I received far surpassed my expectations!

i took our 2005 Ford Five hundred awd to this Aamco because it was giving a shift solenoid a code and was shutting the all wheel drive. they called me to tell me the transmission was bad and the control module on the rear axle was bad too. the cost was more than what i thought the car is worth, so i asked them to change the fluid in both the trans and the axle and to use ford parts cause of previous issues with aftermarket parts. i called several days later and they didnt have the filter yet, so i stopped at the dealer by me and ordered one on Thursday and got it Saturday morning but this Aamco dosnt have Saturday hours. Monday they called and said they had the filter but they pulled the plug to drain the trans and the fluid was clean and changing the filter would not fix it and the put the plug back in and topped it off and it was no charge on Wednesday . I told him that was fine and i would pick it up Friday and since they had the filter just throw it in the car and i would pay for it. He then told me that the filter that ford sent was wrong and they couldnt get the right one. I thought funny cause i did. I went Friday to pick up the car with all i needed to top off the trans if needed and went straight to the car to put the bucket in the trunk and the car was sitting there unlocked for at least 2 days. i went in to get the key, came back out and started the car and as soon as i put it in reverse i could tell it was low on fluids. i pulled it in to the gas station next door and checked the fluid and nothing on the dipstick. i put 1 and 3/4 quarts in the trans and it put it just below full. i took my scanner and cleared the codes and have driven it 90 miles so far with no issue or lights. If they didnt want to look at the car thats fine but dont blow smoke up my A**. as a update i did a transmission service on 12-31-23 of the main filter and fluid and google told me the car had a high pressure filter that had never been changed since the car was new. This fixed the transmission as it dropped the trans pressure from 380psi to 168psi and i have been driving it 80+ miles a day with no issues.

Steve I am sorry to see you are dissatisfied with our service. We do our best to make sure we are timely with all of our repairs. Unfortunately mistakes happen on our and the dealerships end and they do not ship us the correct part. Very seldom do we recommend a transmission service on a vehicle with a vehicle that has not been regularly serviced. The reason is because the detergent in new transmission fluid when performing a fluid and filter can cause further damage to the transmission and potentially escalate the problems your vehicle may be experiencing. If there is anything we can do to help remedy the situation please do not hesitate and give the shop a call at 636-445-5122 to make sure you are taken care of and we can turn that 1 star review into a 5 star review.
