Great place with a good guide inside of the main theater. Nice little museum, too.

This location is included in the National Park System it is totally worth the visit. The Park Rangers are very personable, friendly and will answer additional questions too. It's a special and unique experience for the oral history to be told in place it actually happened. Anybody with a heart can not help but get sentimental on the profound cultural significance. Especially as an American it will feel patriotic on how far we have come as country. Also, besides the Peterson House across the street which part of the visit. There is a museum on the premise but it was missed with the large crowds being ushered into the theater so have to go back soon to check it out. Purchase time tickets online inadvance it's a very minimal park fee.

Such history! We went for a show and during intermission got to explore the Ford museum. Where Lincoln was shot. Very interesting.

Very nice venue! The only issues were the balcony seats had obstructed views because of pillars and the bathrooms were tiny and limited. Long lines formed.
