I've booked for a live video tour and sent multiple reminders to send me the link. No response. Just from this experience I can see how ignorant and slow the management will be in fixing problems. Out of my list.

I posted the review below 9 months ago, and I still maintain that everyone on the management and engineering teams care so much! It's a great building and neighborhood! I'm grateful every day to live here! Thank you, Danielle, for facilitating my move! All front desk staff have been amazingly helpful, and the building is beautiful, clean and maintained!

Don't live here, there's constantly issues with the hot water and you'll be taking some cold showers (been like this for the past 4 months despite complaints form numerous tenants). Also CONSTANT "repairs" done on the water boiler that never actually fix any of the water temp issues. Elevators are constantly broken, one of which was broken for 3 months straight. When these issues were brought up to management their responses were consistently "its an old building" or "the issue is being addressed" but still a lack of urgency persisted

Ellicott House apartments are fine. It's no luxury apartment, but the location is good and facilities passable considering the price. The same problems most likely apply to other apartments of similar age in the area. The building is from the 70s, and although they've renovated the common areas to look modern the units themselves are certainly a bit more dated. Maintenance isn't as good as other apartments I've lived in. Some issues they simply don't fix (the tub doesn't drain all the way) and others they do but it takes many weeks to get parts (over a month in the case of our heater thermostat). The elevators are also somewhat unreliable, though at least one of them is usually working. The water temperature is also strangely variable, some days being no hot water at all and others near boiling. Again, considering the price is lower than other units in the area these are acceptable drawbacks in my opinion, but don't expect anything fancy.
