Chevy Chase Ballroom

My husband and I took several lessons with Dmytro at Chevy Chase Ballroom to prepare a first dance that would "wow" our guests and commemorate our wedding day. He choreographed a beautiful and romantic dance that all of our family and friends loved. The dance was one of the highlights of our day! His choreography was thoughtful and creative and the perfect level of challenge for us. We are so grateful we chose to take lessons and that we chose Chevy Chase Ballroom to provide those lessons. We highly recommend working with this great dance company!

My partner and I did their wedding dance package. Alina was an amazing teacher. She was flexible when our schedules changed, and she was thoughtful and helpful in her constructive criticism. She made things fun, and went above and beyond.

The instructors are great (fun yet serious about teaching) and they offer many dance styles, rotating on a monthly basis. Theres a Friday night social dance every month or two where they play a variety of songs and provide refreshers so you can try out your new skills among the various styles youve been learning along the way.

Chevy Chase Ballroom provides a welcoming and warm atmosphere for dancers of all levels. I started with absolutely no experience in May of 2022 and quickly learned four dance styles with private lessons (in about five months). Im now taking different group lessons and enjoying the social dance events. I highly recommend this studio and their lovely instructorsvery professional, yet they know how to make a rookie feel at ease.
