image I usually don't write reviews, but I feel that this was so unprofessional... I am in the process of switching pediatricians and had asked that my children's records be faxed over to the new office. I filled out a form that the new office requires, and went to macomb peds in person to request this. The front desk worker prepped the charts and I paid the $50 required. Fast forward a week and a half and my new office still has not received the paperwork. I call macomb peds and inquire about the process. I spoke to Jessica and she let me know that she mailed them out last Thursday. I made a comment that that's ridiculous that they still haven't received it. She made the comment, "I don't control the mail." I asked, if my records can be faxed, which is what I initially selected on the form. She said they don't do that and it's too much paperwork to be faxing.... my child is 6mos. and 2 years... She said that they don't do that and If I would've filled out their release faxing wouldn't be an option. I informed her that the front desk worker didn't inform me of that. or provide me with the form to complete. I am a patient and am unaware of what the paperwork protocol is. She said, "I don't know what goes on at the front desk and what she did or didn't tell you." I told her it sounds like a training issue that the front desk worker is not aware that you don't fax records as an office and that I should've completed your release of information. She said it wasn't a training issue and that they just don't fax records. This conversation went back and forth for like 10 minutes. It's almost like she wanted to engage in a fight with me and make her right and me wrong. She was speaking in a condescending way and a way that made me feel like they can't do anything about it. I matched her tone because I was flabbergasted that a doctor's office would argue with me about whether or not they fax records. She finally agreed with me to shut me up that yes it must be a training issue, and told me what she could fax, making it sound like I was inconveniencing her. As a professional, you could maybe apologize about the confusion that happened at the front desk and, instead of arguing with a patient, maybe trying to find a solution FIRST like faxing what you can. I'm glad to know that I made the right decision to switch offices. This could have been EASILY resolved if she would've stopped engaging in a debate with me and found a helpful solution.
Look at how many 1 star reviews the office has about the staff.
I didn't have any issues with the treating physicians if that matters.

image This place is great! I switched pediatricians after my son wasnt getting the care he needed and I am grateful I did. The staff is kind, waiting room is almost sterile with how clean it is, and the doctors and nurses actually LISTEN to all concerns and never make you feel silly for caring about the care of your children. Also theres a Burger King next door with a play place so after a checkup you can get an ice cream cone

image Worst drs office I ever been too, their staff are constantly on their phones talking away while patients are waiting to be seen, unorganized, long waits, rude, snotty attitudes from the girls who work at the receptionist desk
