Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Having almost all of your home destroyed by a plumbing problem is SOOO stressful. The Rotor Rooter crew that worked with me was beyond amazing. Kendrick and the team he assigned to me...Jose and Gerardo...were just wonderful. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable to say nothing of how kind they were in understanding what I was experiencing. As it turned out, the problem was out of the ordinary and very difficult to remedy. Nevertheless this team of three stayed with it until everything was addressed and corrected to my complete satisfaction. Honestly not what I expected from such a large company...thrilled with the results. Thank you guys; you're the BEST!!!

UPDATE: We were promised a $500 refund by Dan on December 1st, 2023. It is now February 8th, 2024 and still have not received a refund. We keep calling, keep getting promised we'll get a call back, same old runaround. DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY!!!! ------ Had great experiences with them in the past, however the last week of events have changed my perspective on this company. We get our residence power-jetted by Roto-Rooter every few months to a year. Last week, we made an appointment a few days in advance for them to come out on Friday, 11/24. We explained what we needed to have done to our residential plumbing, outlined the history and appointment was made. Tech shows up with giant commercial equipment, acknowledges the dispatcher made a mistake, leaves and comes back an hour later with the correct equipment. He completes the job and at the end tells us he has no idea how much the cost is. He takes our credit card and then tells us his iPad is dying. So we get no idea on what the price is or any sort of confirmation of payment. Granted, we have done this regularly for the past few years and know that it's usually between $250 and $300. Come the following Tuesday, we have an $800 charge! Now, we get to do the fun game of phone tag with Roto-Rooter for several days, constantly being told we'll get a call back at the end of the day by the branch manager. Call everyday and get the same excuse that only the branch manager can handle this and we'll get a call back at the end of the day. Rinse and repeat. After getting the same response again today after 3 days of zero calls back, I call again to ask how much a residential power jetting costs. They tell me they have no idea, that a tech has to come out and provide us the cost. When I tell them that the tech that came out last Friday had no idea what the cost was they then transferred me to a manager, Sonya. Sonya then proceeds to tell me that the branch manager, Dave Parra, is the only person in the entire branch who is able to handle this and he is apparently out on jury duty all this week. Seems pretty suspect that an entire branch boils down to one person to handle issues like this with no backup plan whatsoever. So, then I ask Sonya to talk to the person above Dave. She says she'll send him a message and we can expect a response in 24 to 48 business hours. I'm not holding my breath, I'm just going to report them to the California Department of Consumer Affairs and report their obvious fraud to my bank.

Would never recommend roto rooter to anyone. Heres my experience. Called in for a plumber to snake the drain. Website clearly says free estimates and was never given an estimate and was only told pricing AFTER service was completed. Plumber proceeded to work, half an hour later was told it was still clogged and given a bill to pay 350$(which is absolutely outrageous pricing). I was then told I would have to pay over 1500$ for a water jet to clean the drain to unclog the pipe. And if that didnt work I would need to replace the piping altogether. I said Ill have to think about it and would call back. Come next day my father came and snaked the drain himself and unclogged it. I was being HUSTLED. I Called roto rooter to explain my experience and was told a manager would get into contact with me, that was OVER A MONTH AND A HALF AGO. Called again last week and was told a manager would call me next day. Guess what never happened? Literally just got off the phone and was told AGAIN a manager would call me tomorrow and apologized that they were just busy. Yeah sure, busy for a month and a half. I doubt I will ever get a call back. Credit card company could not do a chargeback so I will have to proceed with small claims court to get my money back. Avoid roto rooter and call a small local business instead. Edit: read the review by Chelsea two reviews before mine. Its almost the exact same situation as mine. AVOID ROTO ROOTER

Of course, everything was in working order when Abraham came! I'd been trying for 2 days to unclog a stopped-up toilet. Sorry for the wasted trip out, but I bet you get that a lot!

Called late at night. They took my information right away. Abraham came out within the hour & was very nice and fixed our broken pipe. All completed within 1 1/2 hours from the time I placed the call. Very happy with the service & more reasonably priced than some other competitors I called. Highly recommend!
