I called 4 times today; once at 9:27, again at 11:13, again at 12:42 and finally at 1:15 and they finally answered. First constructive feedback for your team is that your receptionist needs to work on their phone behavior. I asked about my appointment the following week to see how much its going to be and if I needed to fill out paperwork in advance because nobody had reached out to me, and Ive gotten no emails. They said yeah we dont know we checked your insurance and it didnt work ?? I just recently used my Aetna insurance so I know theyre confused but I offered to find my insurance card and as I was searching for it they huffed and puffed like it was a nuisance on their day, so I asked is my insurance through x? and was ignored, so I asked a second time and they responded Oh are you talking to me? ??? Who else would I be talking to? I said yes and they stuttered and scoffed again and said we dont know well you would if youd actually checked my insurance :) With all of their unkind behavior and their inability to answer the phone until the 4th try today, I just cancelled my appointment that Ive had for 3 months because if its a nightmare already it will only be a nightmare going forward. Highly recommend a nearby Dentist Office, they were kind and quickly checked my insurance with ease, gave me a cost and booked me in for an appointment in the next week all in less than a 5 minute phone call. DO NOT recommend Main St. Dental

My family has been seeing this dentist for over a decade. I live 5 hours north and had scheduled my dental appointment for today, nearly 7 months ago. Yesterday I was informed by Aubrie from the front desk they do not take my Delta Dental insurance as I work for the state of WA but that I would be able to pay $299 to cover the 2 annual dental cleanings. I was in agreement and drove the 5 hours to see them. Upon my arrival, I was checked in by Kaylee, and when I asked to double check my insurance, she confirmed it was not in their network. When I was giving her my credit card to charge the $299 she said, "oh we cannot take you at all, knowing you have insurance we can get in trouble for providing you care and you could lose your dental insurance." Knowing this was incorrect, I confirmed with her that she was denying me care, and she said "yes it is illegal." The other women behind the counter appeared to agree with her as nothing was said on my behalf. It is illegal to deny someone care, especially if they are paying out of pocket. I am highly disappointed, and they have lost my faith in their trust, honesty, and future dental work.
