Hi Mr. Williams,I would like to recap our conversation when I called to get the details of your experience. First, I asked you "What question did you ask that you indicated she didn't answer." You stated, "I asked how much it cost to install carpet and tack strip in a room". You also told me the answer provided was, " we couldn't give you a price without looking at the job first." Let me give you an example. How much does it cost to paint my house? Well, Is it wood or concrete siding? Is it painted now? Is it painted with oil or latex? is it peeling? I can come up with about 10 questions you can't answer without looking at the house first. There is no way to professionally quote a price without first looking at the project to determine the exact scope of work. I also asked you "How was our designer "ruled" to you on the phone?" your answer was "Well, she wasn't rude, she just wouldn't answer my question." These were your own answers, not mine. Then you threw other company names out there that you called. I decided to call one of them only to find out you asked the same questions and got the same answers. The other business I called also said you were rude and hung up on them because they couldn't give you a price over the phone without looking at the job. You also hung up on our designer and myself when I called to follow up as well. I assume because you didn't get the answer you wanted even though you got proper reason for not being able to do so. I then stated, "So you gave us a 1 star review when you admitted our designer wasn't rude and she told you why we couldn't quote you over the phone?" you said, "I didn't mean to give you 1 star, I meant to give you a 3 star but I hit the wrong button." (Which you haven't done) My intention was to call you and try to work through this issue as I did. Then it became clear you are not a truthful person, got frustrated and hung up on me. It is easy to hide behind a keyboard and trash others because you don't get what you want. We take pride in trying to provide the best customer service in this industry. Tools like this impact a small business like ours, and the young lady who you chose to try and make look bad. My response to your review was simply your own words when we spoke on the phone.
