It was deer creek weekend so I know they were busy, but the experience was still mostly inexcusable. First the environment: I was completely unimpressed and quite disgusted by my experience. We were seated in a separate room reserved for large parties, and it was filthy! The chairs were so disgusting and covered in stains that I'm not sure a homeless person would even sit in it. The floor carpeting was supposed to be red, but was more black than anything it was so stained. I doubt the chairs or carpet have ever been cleaned! There was an outlet cover that was missing, which leaves exposed wires for some poor child to stick there fingers in and get shocked! Overall it was terrible and most definitely in code violations. The food: If quantity is what you're after then this is the place for you! If you'd rather have quality then choose somewhere else. The wait staff did a decent job. We got our drinks and ordered pretty quickly considering how busy they were. We were informed that it would take a while since a large group came in ahead of us, and I appreciated that. They did forget to refill drinks once, but that's no big deal. When our food was almost done we were informed that there wasn't enough bacon for our order. I'm sorry, but a restaurant should never run out of bacon!!! There is a grocery store up the street for crying out loud! Go get more! That's like running out of coffee, it SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!!! when we got our food, it was hot and the portion sizes were huge. Problems being that EVERYBODY's food was bland and flavorless. The hash browns were soggy in the middle, and my wife's omelet was runny on the inside. Plus, they never brought our toast. Even after the waitress said it was coming, it never showed. All in all it was a terrible experience and I will definitely never dine there again. Yes, it was a busy weekend, but that should still be no excuse for the conditions I described above.

Great little local breakfast place! It doesn't look like much on the outside, and the sign is not easy to see, but it is right in front of the old motel that is closed. It's where all the locals eat and the politicians coming through stop here too. They make everything fresh and they even chopped fresh fruit for us. We had bacon and eggs and they gave us lots of bacon. We also saw someone get a skillet and it was huge! He ended up getting a to go box. There is room to park a truck if it's not too busy, but on weekends they do get really busy. Very nice people and much better than eating at the chain places.
