image Beware- Terrible experience. Unreliable company left me hanging with last minute notification that they no longer can service me. I first contacted this company by phone. They did call me back and told me to fill out information on website to get quote. I did so properly and completely and afterwards received several different emails but none of which had a quote. I did reach out to them via phone again and finally Eric got me a quote. Set up service but we had to change date. That got messy with the automatic emails etc but finally got resolved via email. At each step of this process up until then it was difficult communicating and time consuming but tolerable. The main problem is that our service was scheduled for tomorrow. Since I have not heard from the company to confirm I sent an email to ask what time they would be here tomorrow. This is the response I received.

Due to a staffing change, we will not be able to provide this service for you tomorrow, and I have suspended duct cleaning service for the foreseeable future.
This decsion was made just yesterday. I am in the process of contacting other customers. You will see it has already been removed from our bidding platform.
Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.

So Im left hanging with no prior notice. The previous owner left the place a mess with 22 years of dog hair and crud. We have spent the past 2 months cleaning, remodeling, and preparing to start using the place. I just had new carpeting installed and we are getting ready to move in furniture. Now the heat is on blowing gunk all winter- Great. A little heads up would have been nice. He did let me know that an employee that does air duct work requested to be seasonal this year. Ah, its the end of November and this has been scheduled for quite some time. I only find out the afternoon the day before Im supposed to have this done only because I asked what time they were coming. Very unprofessional. Thanks Eric for a SERVICE YOU CANNOT COUNT ON!

Trey, you and I talked about this by email. The reason notice is last minute is because I've been trying to work a staffing solution right up through today. I understand the situation this leaves you in. The situation is common to every small business in the Northwoods. If you have suggestions on how to recruit and retain employees that I have not yet tried, including wages up by about 30%, I'm all ears. Yet applications are down to a small percentage of what I have seen at any point in our 16 year history. And that while recruiting costs have sky rocketed. In the end, our earned ratings on Google and Facebook are good, so lll stand by our reputation. But, in your case, I said I would provide a service to you, and I could not, in spite of my best effort to do so. When my yes can't be yes, it's on me. Again, please accept my apology.
