Trout Lake Golf Club

Absolutely horrible experience. Not only are the fairways in rough shape, tee boxes a complete mess but to top it all off my trucks windshield was struck with a golf ball. Now where I was parked there was no signs telling me it could be hit there. When you get to the 18th hole there is a sign but its a little late by then. You would think if they put a sign on the 18th hole they could do the same im the parking lot. When I spoke to club house manager he basically told me to take a hike. He could have given 2 craps. When I asked when no signs were put up he informed me they had been taken down. Im the 3rd car to get hit this year alone and they still have done nothing to warn people that park in that section of lot. They still have done nothing to help prevent, such as install a net. They just continue to watch cars get hit and continue to do nothing. When I asked why they had done nothing to warn there customers, he just smirked and said yea maybe we should one day.. Absolutely horrible unethical business. There are many beautiful courses in this area. Don't waste your time on this less then "par" course.

Never been there before. It is a 147 mile trip for me to get there and it was well worth it. The course has a great layout and is impeccably maintained. The tee areas are well cared for, the fairways are superb and the greens are immaculate. Of the courses that I have played this year I would rank the Trout Lake Golf Club with The Links of Lawsonia in Green Lake WI and The Bridges course in Winona. I recommend this course to all golfers.
