We went there twice. The first time we were more understanding because the chef and the waitress failed to come to work that day and there was only one person working. That shouldn't have been a real issue since we were the only customers there. The food was decent, just not great. The service was understandably spotty given the circumstances.
The second time, there appeared to be a full staff in the house. Again we were only 3 of the 7 costumers (3 tables) there, so we were expecting much more. Food again was nothing great. Pizza sticks were baked from a factory made and frozen box . The spinach dip was microwaved. The entrees were all so over cooked they were nearly inedible, we didn't even take the left overs home for the dog.
The worst part though was finding a large piece of wire from the steel wool scrubber in the chicken dumpling soup my daughter was eating! Not only do you have the danger of someone actually swallowing it, but also the gunk that builds up in those scrubbers has now contaminated the food! Yes the manager came out to apologize and offered us a free dessert, but still that should never happen. I've worked in kitchens, and you just plain don't clean without removing the food from the area first.
Overall, for the price per person got the meals, I have to rate this restaurant a 0 (zero). We just won't go back.
