Great food! This is the first place we come whenever we visit back home!

they were very understaffed for being Christmas eve,with all the hustle and bustle going on and the fact that they are located right next to a busy hospital and grocery store, they only had 2 waitresses waiting on a packed resturant.we waited more than 20 minutes before even getting drinks. what made it worse, people that came after us got fed first, what my husband clearly ordered was not what he recieved and had to be returned. then he waited an additional 15 minutes to get his food. the bad thing was ,we were just at the hosp,for a post surgery appt, it was Christmas eve, it was 3 days before my 30th wedding ann. my husband treated me out to lunch (that was so sweet of him ) and this is what we got.after we had eaten we just wanted to get out of there. we wanted to stay for pie and coffee,but after the rudeness and lack of care we just wanted to leave, we got the check,she did not even ask us if we wanted pie, my husband left her a small tip being christmas (which i did not think she deserved) ,we went up to the front counter to pay,i thought i would calmly voice my opinion to the person i was paying , and wow i did not expect what came next. there was a lady (owner i think,or atleast management of some kind) she was very loud and said, " the waitress is busy becuse she is stupid" my husband and i were shocked.she went on to say that there were 2 other waitresses that would have helped but the one waitress did not want nor ask for help so she was given none. we were shocked that a management person would be so bold to speak against a waitress to a customer the way she did. honestly the whole thing and experience was shameful. and on Christmas eve. PEACE ON EARTH AND GOOD WILL TO ALL MEN. we will never be back,i hope others read this,i pray that this was a one time incident. to watch the way the management staff back stabbed the employees was absoultly shameful. so much for our ann.lunch. atleast my husband meant well.
