image Worst customer service ever experienced. Very rude on the phone. Wouldn't take a yard rake there.

image BEWARE:
Upon asking for a refund I was entitled to owner's son brought out a hammer and then slammed the hammer down on the front counter(feel free to look at the mark he made) and said to wait until his Dad was back on Monday. I truly thought he was going to swing at me. was leaving town on that Friday so I wanted my money before I left.
I asked for a full refund on a deposit I made to fix my motor on a Thursday, with a guarantee it would be done by the following Wed. Although the item did not ship due to a system hack on Mercury's computer system(acknowledging this was not Meyer's fault) they were unable to complete the repair as promised.
All I asked for was a refund. However, they would not give me a refund and charged me a $256 dollar restocking fee even though they did not receive the parts. (They said I must work this out with Mercury rather than taking the 2 mins it would take them to call Mercury to cancel the order that has not even shipped yet)
The son (Jeremy) was extremely rude in the whole process and I would not trust him to work on anything of mine.
Stay away. Go up the street and you will be treated much better.

image Horrible customer service. He is so bad, I would go without a part and not use my boat instead of buying from Meyer. I was on my way up to our cabin with my "new" used pontoon. I found I had leaking around the prop since my initial use. I decided to grab seals on my way. My first stop was out of business, so I decided to call Meyer to see if they carried Mariner seals. I was driving and didn't have my motor details. He was extremely crabby and irritated with my call because I didn't know the year of the motor. I quickly said I would stop in since he had Mariner parts. When I did he was extremely rude. I gave him my motor SN since I had the boat with me. He proceeded to get me parts without saying a word other than the price. I asked for advice and he wouldn't give me any. Once I paid, I asked "Are you haing a bad day?" He complained about being there by himself (2PM on a Friday) with too much to do. He had no other customers in the store. Tried to make me feel inferior and dumb for not having the information. All I wanted to know was if he carried Mariner parts. I can imagine that he has no workers because no one would work with someone like him. If you need parts and can go somewhere else, I would highly recommend doing that. He does not deserve your business.
