The staff discriminates against special needs students. Education starts at the top. Wondering if they will make corrections or hold anyone accountable now that it is reported that staff takes food from students unable to pay for lunch and tosses their food in the trash? Students will remember that experience as much as anything taught there.

Stanley Boyd Area Schools discriminates against special needs students. School faculty don't know how to correctly handle or work with students with special needs. SB-School Discrict also doesn't provide the same resources to students with special needs. This school also constantly lies/cheats on test scores and attendance records in order to seem more competitive. The school doesn't care if your students education is up to par with other regional schools. Many of the teachers and faculty should be fired for lack of qualifications and lack of professionalism towards students. Guidance counselors, elementary, middle and high school, do not work to provide students with equal resources, nor do they provide equal services to all students. Many of the teachers have unprofessional confrontations with the students. For example, when I went to drop a class to take another course more beneficial to my line of study, the Spanish teacher intimidated and treated me unfairly afterwards, because she got her feelings hurt. Also, many teachers, including foreign language teachers, are culturally incompetent and do not work cultural inclusivity into their classes. Many teachers have also made culturally insensitive comments about cultures different than their own. Overall, this school is not a quality school and I recommend no one to send their children here. This school will not educate your child properly or treat them fairly. In my opinion this school should be looked into for civil rights violations against special needs students. It's a poor excuse for a school and will give your child a poor education.
