Tom was great to work with. He helped me repair carpet that my dog chewed up. I had an urgent need and he made time to fit me in and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend.

Tom was flexible in scheduling (so we could also manage to get the carpet cleaning in at same time), highly personable, gave detailed explanations to any questions I had about what we could do to fix our problem overall in the best manner, and was timely & professional in his execution of the work. Highly recommend! Tom did an excellent job in our home. The carpet looks great. Tom set expectations that the few areas where our carpet backing had creased & broken down may not be able to look perfect so we understood that caveat from the start. Upon completion, those areas happen to blend pretty well with the crosshatch texture of our carpet, so it looks even better than I was anticipating. Original Situation: We had new carpet installed in our home in 2016 which had severely bubbled in every room & stairs where that particular carpet was installed (4 bedrooms, loft, hallway, & stairs). Resolution: Tom came out to give us an estimate and was forthright in what he was confident could be completely fixed (rooms with slight bubbles where the backing has not creased/broken) and what could be significantly improved (we had a few areas where the carpet had bubbled & then peaked like a ski jump, and the carpet backing had broken down). He measured all the spaces we wanted to fix and gave us an estimate for the cost. I also explained that we wanted to have the carpet professionally cleaned right after it was re-stretched If we were going to move all the furniture out of the rooms anyway, it was the ideal time to get both projects resolved. Tom partnered with Mark (Advanced Carpet Restoration) to help me stage the re-stretching & cleaning of an entire level of our home! Heres how it played out: Sunday night: our family moved all furniture out of 3 rooms (and into other rooms on that floor). Monday: Tom restretched carpet in 3 rooms in the morning. Then, Mark came to clean those same 3 rooms in the afternoon (drying time ~24 hours). As long as he was here, we also had him clean the carpet in our finished basement. Tuesday: carpet dried completely. Then in the evening, our family moved all furniture back into the 3 completed spaces & shuffled all the furniture out of the remaining 2 rooms in preparation for the next day. Wednesday: Tom restretched carpet in the remaining 2 rooms & the stairway. Thursday morning: Mark came to clean those 2 rooms & stairway. We also had him clean the carpet on our main level family room while he was here. Friday: All carpet was dry by 1pm. We put all furniture back in place & project was complete.
