The negative review was from a fired employee, so take that at face value. We loved Peggy's Place. My oldest was there from age 20 months - 3.5 and my youngest 7 months-18 months. We moved to Michigan and were so sad to leave Peggy's. My girls loved it there and I always thought they were well cared for. They also learned a ton and got to do fun things like library story time and music and movement class. Good variety of food, awesome playground! I wouldn't hesitate to put my girls back at Peggy's Place if we moved back to WI.

Peggy's Place has been amazing with our son! He started at 8weeks old and will be starting kindergarten in the fall, we are sad to be leaving. She has always had his best interest at heart and care has always been exceptional. They have music once a week and go to the library for storytime weekly, which has helped facilitate my son's love of books. She deserves the 5 star rating! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a daycare in the area.

Worse Daycare I have seen. I worked here, and I was compelled to resign. The director/lead teacher is mean, and forceful with the children when no parents are around. When I was working there she yelled a lot, she grabbed a couple of kids by the arm. She was very strict, and it made me very uncomfortable. She would threaten the children. If they weren't cooperating, she would threaten to take away lunch or something, she would also make the finish the plate even if they weren't hungry. I have seen her make the kids cry. I saw the lead teacher/director grab a kid by the arm and almost throw them out of the way. In my opinion, she has no business teaching preschoolers. I am having a baby, and I would never send my child there.

Peggy's Place has had many families with her from a very young age and multiple children from the same family enrolled in care. I assure you if there were parent's concerns, this wouldn't be the case. I have two children enrolled, one who started at 7 months (because PP was full when I finished maternity leave) and one who started at 20 months. My oldest has been there for over a year and a half and loves it. She has absolutely thrived and learned so much. She adores the owner, her family and her current assistant. Yes, Peggy can be firm, but not at all in an inappropriate way. The kids listen to and respect her. They have an awesome outdoor playground area, library and classroom area. She's one of only 2 5-star providers in the Kenosha area for a reason. Please don't let a disgruntled former employer try to dissuade you from looking at this day care. We are moving and it breaks my heart that my girls are going to have to leave PP.
