Dave K with Dog Guard NE WI is great! He scheduled me the next week for my dog fence install. I did not have to wait 6 wks like many other places. He is super responsive. I would highly recommend him!!

Our Dog Guard fence was installed yesterday and, in less than 24 hours, our puppies understand their boundaries in both the front and back yard. David and his partner created two zones so if they were to get out the front door they'd be contained but they don't have access to the front yard, specifically the driveway, from the backyard (this is called a pinch). Until they are trained and compliant, I worried about the driveway with vehicles coming in and out.
Our 7-year-old Shih Tzu/Terrier is also on the system and she is doing fine. She has never run away but she has been doing all the things the puppies could not: saying, "Ha ha, I'm going in this mulch and you can't!" Well this system fixed that issue.
The pups are 23 and 20 weeks, strong, willful, and curious. We are so pleased they can enjoy off leash independence without the worry of them escaping the safety of our yard.
Both pups were presented a challenge last night when the backyard dog came up to its physical fence but they did not attempt to bolt over to greet her. Perfect.
And, as I complete this review, the pups are fast asleep because they were able to play fetch this morning with freedom. They need to get that exercise in and being on leash didn't allow them to be as active as they need.
If you're considering containment, fence installers are months out, if not booked out until at least next Spring, and materials are both extremely expensive and scarce right now. We are looking at minimum Fall of 2022 for a privacy fence at an increase of about 30% from pre-Covid pricing. Dog Guard provided us exactly what we need in the meantime.

Dog Guard was very responsive when I was looking for information, in fact, after reaching out via their website, Dave Knapp had returned my call within minutes. They made all the arrangements with utilities, offered a great price, and installed promptly. Best of all, they helped train our puppy who took to the Inground fence concept in days. So happy with our choice!
