Worst work experience of my life. The lighting is bad for welding and cleaning parts, the blueprints are on small paper at times you need a magnifying glass to read them, there are no tools, almost everything breaks down there because they don't invest in maintaining anything regularly, the supervisor let's anyone weld anything even if it's required to be welded by someone D1.1 certified, the supervisor doesn't know why a cover lens gets dirty or the difference between an arc gouging rod and a stick welding electrode, doesn't know how to use a tape measure, He drags the tape over whatever is in the way clamps, weld whips etc.... Once I called him out on it I haven't seen him use another one.. He's always in a rush to get products out the door without properly inspecting them. Most times he doesn't even inspect. If you tell him what the problem is with a part he won't go to the person who actually messed it up. He'll continue to let it happen. He'll wait for it to get painted and once the customer looks at it and rejects it. That's when he'll ask a certain individual to fix it. This guy is bad at his job. The guy above him is basically the same way Unqualified and very sensitive. He wants to talk to you however he wants and expects you not to respond. I was talking to him about boundaries and how he invaded my space in a respectful way because I caught him peeking in the bathroom at me. He said I have a bad attitude because I addressed him about that situation. I told him he has the worst attitude here.  Two days later I was called to the office where the part time H-R lady spoke to me about it and defended his weird act. Work was slow and there was nothing for me to weld almost 2 weeks. The company is struggling. They've lied to me since I started there. Trying to keep me around. So the company and I agreed to a mutual separation. On the company website they offer fsa and ira but it's not true. I brought it to their attention but they've never changed it. Work slows down there a lot. They struggle to keep contracts and I see why. I could go on forever about this place but I don't have enough space. If you don't know how to weld or machine. This is the perfect place for you. No matter how many times you mess up the supervisor will keep giving you the same stuff you mess up to do over. Theres one guy there that fixes everything so the supervisor just gives him the bad parts. The part-time H-R lady is just as shady as the supervisor and manager. The company is always right in their eyes even If they're wrong. They don't know how to treat good employees. I showed up everyday on time, worked as much overtime they needed me to work when they had some. This place has a high turnover rate. They're unorganized, unprofessional, have bad people skills and communication skills
