Choosing the right wedding photographer was very difficult for us, until we found Manning Photography! His style was crisp, playful, candid, and unique. There was something different about his photos that made us say 'Wow!' His communication was straightforward and his packages were well organized. It makes a big difference, especially when you are entrusting someone to take photos of a very important day.
We had a large outdoor wedding where there were many variables to control. He did it flawlessly and delivered amazing pictures. My mark of a great photographer is when they are capturing the crucial moments without being known...so when you look back at the pictures, you can visualize being there!

We got real lucky when friends of ours recommended Manning Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. Patrick's style is unique. He has such a calming presence, and he is very professional. He has an eye for great photographs, and he makes it easy for one not normally used to being in front of the camer to "act natural." These things are hard to capture in someone whom you've never met, yet he made my husband and I feel completely at ease.
Many of our guests even commented afterwards on how great Patrick was. They said he was everywhere, and the results showed. We had so much fun viewing all of our pictures, and he really made it possible for us to re-live that day every time we look at them. He did such a terrific job at capturing the special moments of the day. We are so pleased with our overall experience, and would choose Manning Photography again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I had Julie photograph our wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum. It was one of the best decisions we made. Julie was amazing. She was professional, accommodating, and extremely hard working. She has a fantastic eye, setting up beautiful shots while also capturing the memorable moments as they occur. Julie is completely dedicated to her work. We often found her shooting photographs on the ground, standing on chairs, and contorting her body so as to get the perfect angle. And the pictures prove her work. They are absolutely amazing. In fact, one of our friends loved them so much she hired Julie to photograph her wedding in Madison.
We always rave about our photography experience anytime any of our friends become newly engaged :)
