I went there on on 3/23/19 and the store is empty with a for sale sign outside the building. Its not my neighborhood shop so I don't know when they closed or moved but the store on Murray no longer exists. Too bad, it was a great place.

Great place but went out of business I heard the Native American mechanic is at everyday cycles on locust now

The Bike Fixers is a great shop. They stand behind their bikes. I appreciate how they don't try to upcharge. Very honest and detail oriented.

I must say there is a great crew of folks working here. Recently purchased a used fat bike and took it in to the Bike Fixers for assembly and a once over from experienced mechanics. Took it in Thursday evening, just a couple hours prior to closing and they had it ready for pickup Friday afternoon! The service fee was very reasonable to boot. Chase took me through a quick crash course and offered some valuable maintenance and riding wisdom. He even offered me a steal on some 45NRTH Flowbeists, which are honestly probably better suited for the weather conditions in Milwaukee, but I didn't have the scratch to grab them at the moment. The people here know their stuff, offer very competitive prices, carry quality bikes and components, and provide prompt and excellent service. It doesn't hurt that the staff are friendly and great to talk to! You will not find pushy sales people here, but you will find cyclists who are passionate about bikes and want to make sure that you enjoy yours. I will be back!
