Monkey Bar

weird place. been there twice to see bands. walking in it looks like an average hiphop/sports bar. all the way in the back there's a glass door where you pay $5 to go in a tiny room where 3 bands play for each other and a couple friends. How does the bar make any money off this? Some people coming to these shows actually walk in and walk out thinking they're at the wrong place...

This tiny bar is pretty cool. It has a low key atmosphere where you can go share a drink with some friends. Not like a night club at all, which is awesome. There is a back room (VIP) where you can throw a private party for friends. The bar itself is huge. Plenty of room to sit and relax with a beer or cocktail. Looks, like there is going to be a new Owner/Operator coming in soon. Looking forward to how they will change up the scene. The area around this bar is really coming up too. Lots of cool stuff happening around this neighborhood. Can't wait!!
