    Accosted us at our home well after dark because we just bought our house and then tried to gaslight us into thinking they weren't trying to sell something and then got upset and offended because I told them to leave. Made me feel like I needed a security service. Just not adt

    We have had ADT for 40 years. Yes 40 years. We really never had a problem and if I did ADT would help me out. I now have a panel that you cannot see the number because they wore off. I never had that happened. Well I guess that this system is outdated and it is going to cost me over $400.00 to get it updated. They will not change the panel because they no longer have one. This system is only 9 years old. Money is tight for us. So now I am going to take a sharpie to the numbers and see if that works. Also if a get the new system it will cost me more money on my monthly statement. Thank you ADT. I would think about getting them.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I have been duped twice by them into paying an exorbitant amount for equipment and services. First we payed for a system out in CO and then we planned to move to WI. I was told I could just move the whole system at no cost. But a few months went by and I was still being charged for the equipment left in CO (I was told I HAD to leave the equipment and it wouldn't be a cost to me). So I am currently paying off equipment in 2 different houses. Our subscription is also $67/month and we don't even use it anymore so we decided to cancel. I was told if I want to cancel my subscription I have to pay $3,000 because of the contract I signed when we moved to WI. They were in no way clear about any contractual obligation when I started my subscription. They just allowed me to think I could have the the subscription and equipment and cancel anytime. But if you do that you have to pay out for the next 5 years of the subscription. This was the same thing they did when we moved from CO to WI, they are incredibly unclear of the obligations that come with their equipment and subscriptions. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Not only that, every person I've spoken to on the phone has been very rude. The final call where I was told I would owe $3,000 to cancel was a horrible woman who was rude and sarcastic with me. Completely unprofessional for a company that claims to be concerned about your safety. Do not get involved with this company, they are only out to make money and will allow you to believe certain things in order to get you to pay them money.

    We are very happy with every aspect of our experience with ADT sales and service. We had a security system with another company for the last 20 years that needed upgrading and that company was less than satisfactory in their response to our needs. So to have a company listen and care about what we want is extremely important, especially when it is your security that is involved. Beth N. was our initial contact in sales and she was extremely helpful and had our installation set up in a very timely manner. Chris was our installation technician who worked tirelessly even after dark to get everything working for us. We appreciate them and their responsiveness to our needs so much. Thank you to all involved and to all of ADT, we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a security system!
