Rare Steakhouse

An unfortunate experience. In my opinion the restaurants price tags do not match the quality of the food at all. The most important part of the meal for me is steak (at a steak house). My steak had only one flavor - pepper. I had to scrape it and move to a clean plate to make it somewhat eatable. It was not advertised on the menu as pepper steak. Our meal was close to $300, 2 steaks, 3 sides, a beer, glass of wine and a soft drink. This is higher than a typical dinner at a New York steak house, and this was the first time ever that I didn’t like my steak. The sides were not memorable at all. Caramelized onions tasted like simple sautéed onions. A veggie medley was just fine, lacked flavor. The mushrooms were ok. I think the tastiest part of the meal was the strawberry butter that came with the rolls. This may be TMI, but that dinner also gave me an upset stomach. (Slight chance that it was a latte I had had 2 Horus prior to dinner, but unlikely cause of the timing). What earned this place the 2 starts was the staff - very nice, polite and accommodating.

OMG this place is so amazing they had my own oysters they also had steak that is aged you guys should check it out! Also I had duck liver but do not knock it until you try it because it melted in my mouth like butter such an amazing place I should have took pictures. ❤❤❤❤ Back again for my birthday...yummy 8/28
