It’s been a month now since we’ve picked up our 1 year old Corgi, Loki, from Tyrese at A Howling Good Time Dog Training. We are first time dog owners. We were able to do some training on our own. But Loki was a reactive dog when on a leash he would bark and lunge at people, dogs and many things around him that he wasn’t familiar with. We did the 4 week board and train with Tyrese and his staff and he came back obedient and much calmer. He now understands how to walk on a leash and listens very well. When we were dropping off Loki, Tyrese gave us a tour and walked us through the whole process. And as first time dog owners, we didn’t know what really to expect. He assured us and made us feel comfortable leaving our puppy there. While letting Tyrese train Loki he had sent us videos of Loki’s progress through out the whole training. Keeping us in the loop. And when we went to go pick up Loki, Tyrese was able to teach us the commands Loki had learned. Tyrese was very welcoming and well educated. He really does know what he’s doing and I am so happy that we were able to work with him! So if you’re looking for someone dependable, and educated, I recommend A Howling Good Time Dog Training!

We brought Duke, our 140 pound 3 year old rescue Great Dane, to Tyrese to address extreme leash reactivity toward other dogs. As we live in a community of New Urbanism, interaction with other dogs on walks is nonstop, and so was the lunging, barking and dog reactivity from our Dane. It was simultaneously stressful and exhausting simply trying to navigate a walk or run with him, or to take him other places. After Duke’s 3 week board and train program with Tyrese, he came back a completely non-reactive, settled and obedient dog. The transformation was beyond what we could have hoped for or imagined. We had three objectives going in (1) we could take him to any outdoor venue; if other dogs were reactive, he would remain calm; (2) he would be calm around senior adults so I could ensure their safety; (3) he could be off-leash without concern or incident. Duke has demonstrated and continues to demonstrate that he has achieved all three of these goals. When we went back for a follow-up training session, Duke bounded out of the truck, tail wagging, expressing his happiness to see Tyrese and crew. He was well treated and well trained during this process; his mannerism and enthusiasm toward staff said it all. We’ve learned several valuable lessons through this process: 1. You don’t have to live with/tolerate the stress of negative dog behaviors. 2. Training brings FREEDOM. Freedom for the dog; freedom for you! 3. Professional training delivers RESULTS. Results I was unable to obtain on my own. Professional training was 110% worth the investment. Thanks, Tyrese and fellow trainers, for the transformation you facilitated and delivered on!

We just picked up our dog Enzo from a 2 week Board and Train with Tyrese and A Howling Good Time Dog Training. Enzo is a very nervous dog. Tyrese was able to teach Enzo basic obedience and focus. Tyrese also takes the time to send you update videos and on pick up day spends time explaining things and teaching you what your dog learned. If you are looking for a trainer that listens to your concerns and puts together a program that works best for each individual dog. I highly recommend A Howling Good Time Dog Training. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs.

We love A Howling Good Time Dog Training! My partner and I boarded our dog with Tyrese and his team for 10 days and then immediately started the 3 week board and train for her. We missed her so much, but our time away from her was well worth it. When we picked her up, Tyrese trained us and showed up what he had been working on with her, and our dog was like a new dog... well that is to say that Tyrese worked with her to create such a good foundation for listening, obedience, and being more relaxed. She still is very much herself, but a better listener and more obedient. Our dog is very stubborn, manipulative (or clever if you want to look at it that way), and nervous. Tyrese worked with her consistently and patiently in a way that is simple and easy for us to follow through with and build on. Beyond the excellent training, I felt very reassured and happy to see her wag her tail and go to Tyrese and other trainers when she wasn't training to be pet (something she does not often do to people). About a month after our training, we boarded her with Tyrese for a weekend, and the second we pulled up and parked the car, our dog almost ran out and ran to the door! She was SO happy to be back and to see Tyrese again. For me, this was a great sign that she enjoyed her time there and felt comfortable with them. I enjoyed our vacation so much more knowing that she was also having a good time. In the end, I realized that thanks to Tyrese, I just enjoy my time with my dog more and like her more! I love going on walks with her now which as before sometimes I did and sometimes I didn't because she was sometimes a good walker and plenty of times she directed the whole walk. I was unsure how well she would respond to training since we've had her for 3 years and she is 4 but I learned that it is never too late! I recommend Tyrese to anyone and everyone that is looking for any sort of training with a dog (from basic obedience to more socialization to more aggressive behaviors). Tyrese and his team are worth. every. penny.
