Comfy Chair Consignment

Comfy Chair was a great store with lots of character, it is a shame they are now closed. The Habitat ReStore across the street also sells used furniture and although they don't have as much selection, they get new stuff every day.

This is a beautiful store, one of my new favorites. Comfy Chair is clean and easy to browse, and the owners are very friendly. They always have so many lovely things, vintage, current, and new/refurbished items made by local artists. If you haven't been here yet, you really must check it out.

I absolutely love this place! They get new stuff in all the time so I frequent it often. They have an impressive collection of mid century chairs and furniture. It is actually a very eclectic collection. I bought a charming, unique French provincial style night stand there. It's my most favorite piece of furniture in my home. I have also put furniture on consignment there and sold it! I could conceivably furnish and refurnish over and over again all the while recycling and not harming the environment. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The pieces are unique and original. The store has both a peaceful ambience with classical music for the shoppers and a play area for my child so that I can shop. In addition to comfy chairs i have found paintings, rugs, tables and more. The couple who own and operate the place are very nice and friendly but allow the customers to roam freely without being aggressively attacked by desperate sales folk like at other furniture places I've been to. It's great to support a local establishment- makes me feel like part of a community every time I go in there.
