Mary Thompson: Allstate Insurance

Mary was EXTREAMLY rude over the phone. When I asked what my monthly payment would be, she refused to give me the amount that would be withdrawn from my account each month. I then asked her why and she began to argue and raise her voice at me. I WILL NEVER GO THROUGH ALLSTATE AGAIN!

Mary Thompson is very rude and unprofessional to work with. She does not respond in a timely manner. She does not listen, over talks and constantly interrupts her customer. We almost had our insurance cancel because of her not updating our information when our lender reached out about refinancing. Also, when we added a service line rider we asked if payment was needed and were told no it would go on our annual bill. Yet we received a late payment notice. We we're with her for 10+ years and she never contacted us regarding our policy unless we initiated a need. Also found that we were overpaying by $800 a year for our auto policy compared to other agencies (local and big name) for the exact same coverage. I do not recommend using this agent. Allstate was great but out agent was not. We had a great Allstate agent (Jim Wickizer) that retired and since then have never been satisfied. Now we have moved on and are able to again enjoy the experience of a great agent.

If there was such a thing as zero stars that is what we choose. We have been customers for 40 years, always paying bills on time. Our bill was due August 2nd and today we received a notice that it was cancelled on August 1st?!!?! Before the due date?? Reinstated on August 4th because they received the payment (the entire year, I might add). Angry beyond words and a telephone conversation AND switching of insurance companies is happening tomorrow.

0 stars if that were possible... Poor customer service. Slow response times. Horrible attitude & difficult to work with. They don't document what they tell you & refuse to be a customer advocate! I never received worse service from anyone!

My experience with all state and especially Mary Thompson is very comforting and helpful. I appreciate the fact that they have my best interest at heart as a priority and are very understanding . I recommend all state to everyone and a agent as .rs Thompson is even more important...
