These guys are crooks stay away. They were remodeling my moms house after it was sold and we had until the end of the month to get everything out of the house.(which was many sentimental things from my passed mother and sister) This company came in a weak early and started taking things that were descent and told us if we helped them clean the house that we could get anything that we wanted, which was a lye. We cleaned all night and the next morning we went back to find all of the things we had put aside to remove out of the house was gone. Just beware when you're dealing with these guys.

As far as "custom builders" go, you should look elsewhere. If you are building a house that consists of anything remotely custom, like thin-coast plaster, upgraded materials, custom finished, etc., forget it. These guys are Janesville drywallers/vinyl siding types that are more capable of tract subdivision housing than any type of quality built custom home.  While my parent's house turned out ok, there were huge issues with poor communication, terrible follow through with subcontractors and design delays with what should have been a simple laundry room layout.  The laundry room was reconfigured a minimum of three times before it was even functional enough to have appliances installed. The roof over the garage has leaked for the past year, and the builder is just now coming over to repair after having lived in the house for a year.  Bob Sarow, the main owner, claims to be a problem-solver and great communicator, but does neither effectively. These guys would be an ok choice if you are building a ranch style house in Janesville where drywall and carpet are ok.  If you're looking for a higher quality home with any type of character or attention to detail,you should look elsewhere.
