College Pro Painters

I would give College Pro Painters zero stars if I could. This was easily the worst experience I have ever had working with a business. I wanted to have my deck and fence stained this past summer. I received my initial quote in May and the painter said he could be out in early June to get started. The entire month of June went by and I did not hear from anyone. I eventually was able to get ahold of my contact in early July and he said "I'll be out next week to get started." No one showed until three weeks later, I get a call from my wife while I'm at work. Some one had come out during the day and started painting finally but instead of the transparent cedar stain that we ordered (reddish but still be able to see the grain of the wood), they had painted half of our fence was a solid, dark brown. I immediately call my contact and they admitted that their painter had used the wrong stain and it was all their fault. We could no longer use a transparent stain since the dark brown would show through it. However, we could pick a different color and they would come out and correct the problem with some discount. I'm mad but trying to work through it. My wife and I evaluate a few different options and tell them in early August our new stain color. By Labor Day, we still hadn't heard from them. I call the regional manager and start complaining. One day in early October, I come home and our deck is magically stained in the new color but half of the fence is still the dark brown. By this time, it's starting to get cold and getting near the time where you should not be staining a fence. I finally get one last promise from the regional manager that someone will be out to finish the project the 2nd week of October. No one ever shows up. Un-freaking-believable. My wife and I eventually just do the project ourselves since we are so fed up with working with these clowns. I leave voicemails with my contact and the regional manager trying to get my deposit back and no one ever gets back to me. What a scam! My experience with College Pro was simply the worst of my life. These guys are a joke and can not be trusted. Do yourself a favor and NEVER work with these low-life scam artists.

Horrible job. Started peeling almost before they left, yet they call every month hoping to sell me another paint job. Avoid these people at all costs.
