Do Not Hire Him!! I asked him to represent me in a family court matter. When we went to court he was not prepared to say the least, he didnt even know how long Ive lived at my residence. At court he told the all he would have our motion in the courts within the week and here I sit constantly asking him when it will be done. He finally tells me it is months later and he tried sending it to me several times but it was blank documents. He never tried to send it via postage, he told me I can stop in sometime to pick it up and asked when works and we still havent been able to find a time that words for him. This guy is a joke and a half and should retire before he looses all credibility! DO NOT HIRE HIM!

Inclusive skilled astute compassionate rooted in community POC LGBTQ+ Alf is always personable and relatable, even when the process is more complicated than I can fully grasp. Answers phone calls and emails promptly and with plenty of information so that I feel fully prepared. Hes the kind of lawyer that I had hoped I could be, when I considered going into law in college. Weve gone to him for our will, a workplace issue, and a misdemeanor issue with one of our children. Having gone through the death of my father when I was 11, Alf understood the will / estate /revocable trust questions and concerns that I had. Now Im 3/4 through divorce and I wouldnt have gone to anyone else in Wisconsin for his areas of law. No question.

Alf has always been easy to talk to and is full of great knowledge. I would pick him over any lawyer un this state. Has always retuned my calls and emails in a promptly manner. Thanks for your time Alf. Very appreciated.

I hired Alf Langan in 2005 when getting divorced.  The last time I was alone with my husband, he beat me up, and physically, it was hard for me to get around for about a year.  And I was in an extremely vulnerable condition.  After hiring Mr. Langan, he did not return emails or phone calls.  Eventually, I had to physically go to his office and wait several hours until he showed up to see him.  In the end, he charged me over $20,000 and did virtually nothing for me other than show up to court and "accept" what my now ex-husband offered.  So I was basically hurt by a terrible marriage, and then, by a terrible lawyer.  I wanted to hire another lawyer to determine the appropriate fee, but I couldn't handle it emotionally, and have put it behind me.  Please stay as far away from this man as you can.
