I purchased excellent Starkey Hearing aids from Mark at Better Hearing Aids. He is an outstanding hearing aid dealer that goes above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with your hearing aids! I have referred many friends and family members to Mark due to his great care and service! Mark includes all servicing in his pricing. Don't be fooled by low ball prices from other dealers. They will nickel and dime you for servicing of the hearing aids after the sale. Better Hearing Aids has been in business for 50 years and based on my experience I understand why. The also have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Thanks again Mark!!!!

Outstanding Hearing Aids! Worn 2 prior sets of hearing aids from other hearing aid dealers for 15 years. This is my third pair and I love them! By far the best sound clarity and minimal background noise! I can understand TV and soft spoken voices again! So glad I found Mark at Better Hearing Aids! They also have A+ BBB rating and I now understand why. Mark also provides free service for the life of the hearing aids! Other places nickled and dimed me for any service required. I priced shopped and Mark's prices were signicantly lower than his competition! Mark also offers a full refund 45 day trial period. I highly recommend Better Hearing - you will not be disappointed!

Don't shop here unless you have money to throw away. Mark Rau charges roughly 70% more than other Starkey Hearing Aid dealers in Eau Claire. My mother wanted to shop here because a lady at the YMCA said they were good. Wondering if there is a commission system working here? I am not knocking his technical ability but he is arrogant and condescending. He made a very big show of the testing and programming process even though it is all done through the Starkey provided software. Mom purchased the devices for $4,999 in Dec, 2017. They performed acceptably and then she passed away in early March, 2019. What to do with the devices? Boat anchors for an elf boat? I decided to give them to a friend who could never hope to have them on her own. I contacted Mark about this and he was very reluctant to do anything except sell my friend new hearing aids. A followup visit got him to budge on this and he reluctantly agreed to refit them for $750. Now here is where it gets interesting. I started shopping around for the refitting and discovered these same hearing aids, that we paid $4,999 for, could be had for $3,000 at other Starkey dealers. So this guy has already made an extra $1,999 on the devices and then wants to hook me for another $750 to refit them for my friend. I would strongly advise against giving your business to this guy. Find other Starkey dealers and shop around!
